These are my “map drawings”. These are the first of them. I started them on a trip down the Portugal coast. I started them because I was seeing so many things and I couldn’t remember what I did on what day. If I need to remember my way home I will choose to remember posters, buildings or these little strange moments I see, instead of street signs. Colors and shapes take up a bigger part in my memory than words do. By doing this when I look back on an event I can place myself there more accurately.
